Riva – A Ferretti Group brand
Founded in 1842 on the shores of Lake Iseo, Riva is today one of the world’s most renowned boatbuilders. With over 180 years of history, its iconic boats have redefined modern yachting: from classic wooden boats, such as the Aquarama, “the boat” par excellence which captivated royalty, celebrities and leading figures of the international jet set, to fiberglass yachts with sleek lines and powerful engines, up to full-custom steel and aluminium superyachts ranging from 50 to 90 meters.
In 2000, Riva joined Ferretti Group, a world leader in luxury yachting. This partnership marked a new phase of growth, enabling the brand to expand its range while integrating advanced technologies and contemporary design solutions, always remaining faithful to its heritage. Today, Riva operates three production sites: the historic shipyard in Sarnico, dedicated to the construction of yachts from 27 to 68 feet; the shipyard in La Spezia, inaugurated in 2004 and specialized in the production of Riva yachts from 76 to 130 feet; and the Riva Superyachts Division, established in 2014 in Ancona, where steel yachts from 50 to 90 meters are built at the Ferretti Group Superyacht Yard, one of the largest production facilities in Europe.

Since its inception in 1977, the award-winning Arquitectonica received nearly instantaneous acclaim, equating the firm’s bold modernism with a renaissance in Miami’s urban landscape. Led by Principals Bernardo Fort-Brescia and Laurinda Spear, Arquitectonica continues to push the limits of design with its innovative use of materials, geometry, pattern and color to introduce a new brand of humanistic modern design to the world. Today, Arquitectonica holds a major presence on the international stage. Founded in 2005, ArquitectonicaGEO is an award-winning design studio specializing in landscape architecture, planning, and urban design. ArquitectonicaGEO, led by Laurinda H. Spear and Margarita Blanco, has elevated the conversation about the important role landscape architecture plays—as well as the contributions it can make—in the face of climate change and sea level rise.

With a distinguished career spanning more than 25 years in architecture and interior design, Giuseppina Arena has successfully crafted projects across Europe, Asia, and North and South America. She earned both her Bachelor’s Degree and Master’s Degree in Yacht Design from the University of Florence. Giuseppina Arena continues to be a pioneering force in the maritime industry, contributing her design expertise to some of the world’s most recognized cruise lines and exclusive private yachts. In addition to these accomplishments, she has extended her innovative design approach to residences, catering to clients seeking her distinctive touch for their homes. Based in Miami, she showcases her design versatility across a spectrum of styles, each one meticulously tailored to the client, achieving a harmonious balance that ensures a profound sense of belonging and comfort within their living spaces.

Formitalia Group is the branded furnishings partner for Riva Yachts on Riva Residenze Fort Lauderdale. This project brings Riva’s signature Italian elegance to an exclusive residential setting, with high-end furnishings created exclusively for the project, seen no where else in the world. Enriched by Formitalia’s over 60 years of expertise in luxury furniture, guided by the Overi family, the pieces showcase the refined craftsmanship of Riva in a home setting.
